Asian School of Design & Applied Vastu Goes Global & Appoints Shantanu Pandey As Director
Asia’s fastest growing school for AEC students,ASDAV, goes global. Moves from asdav.in to asdav.com as it formalises international operations, taking live online certification in architecture and BIM, interior design and applied Vastu to learners across eight countries. ASDAV also appointed Shantanu Pandey, founder of Tenet & the global leader in Design & Technology as it’s director.

India, United Arab Emirates, and United States Of America – August 10, 2026 – The Asian School of Design & Applied Vastu (ASDAV) today announced the formal launch of its global operations and the appointment of Shantanu Pandey, Founder and CEO of the international design and growth agency Tenet, as Director. The school has migrated its platform from asdav.in to asdav.com as it moves from India-first operations to serving a globally distributed intake.

Founded in 2024 by architect and global Vastu consultant Ar. Jasmine Ahluwalia, ASDAV delivers live online certification in architecture and BIM, interior design and applied Vastu Shastra, taught in small batches by practising professionals and built around working drawings, real budget constraints and site-based case studies. It has trained more than 500 students across over 25 cities, delivered more than 200 live sessions and holds a 4.9 out of 5 rating on Google, with learners in India, the UAE, the UK, the United States, France, Qatar, Canada and Mexico.

Shantanu Pandey Appointed Director

Pandey’s remit covers international market development, global brand and positioning, search and AI-era discoverability, programme portfolio and pricing strategy, and employer partnerships. Ar. Jasmine Ahluwalia continues as Founder, leading academic direction, curriculum and faculty.

Pandey founded Tenet in 2018 as a sole operator with approximately USD 650 in savings and no external funding, and has built it into a Dubai-headquartered agency with offices in India, the UK and the US, delivering more than 450 projects for over 300 clients across 15-plus countries, for clients including Nike, Microsoft, Gartner, Oracle UAE, G42 and Mubadala. His thoughts & commentary have appeared in Forbes, Entrepreneur, Fast Company, HubSpot, Zapier and Starter Story.

“ASDAV has spent two years proving something difficult, which is that a live, project-based programme can take an architecture or interior design graduate and make them employable in weeks rather than years,” said Shantanu Pandey, Director at ASDAV and Founder and CEO of Tenet. “The demand was already international before anyone marketed it that way. My focus is making ASDAV the reference point in each of the three disciplines we teach, applied Vastu, interior design, and Revit and BIM, for a professional anywhere in the world deciding where to train.”

Three Flagship Certifications, Delivered Live Online

The Professional Revit & BIM Course for Architects runs 12 weeks at INR 50,000, covering BIM and Revit fundamentals, architectural modelling, smart families, documentation standards, visualisation and multidisciplinary BIM coordination across more than 40 live sessions. The Professional Program in Interior Design runs 24 weeks at INR 50,000, with specialist 12-week certifications in residential interior design at INR 37,999 and commercial interior design at INR 32,999. Art of Applied Vastu: Basic to Advance, at INR 14,999, teaches directional analysis, defect identification and non-structural remediation on real case studies, with consultancy workflow and client-handling training.

All programmes are delivered entirely online, with no relocation required. Sessions run live in Indian Standard Time, scheduled so that a designer in London, Dubai, Sharjah, Doha, Paris, Toronto, New York or Mexico City can attend and question faculty directly, with recordings issued within 24 hours. Entry-level certifications assume no prior software experience, and learners receive an industry-recognised ASDAV certificate on completion.

Pricing Built So That Cost Is Not a Limiting Factor

ASDAV’s flagship certifications are priced from approximately USD 160 to USD 525 at prevailing exchange rates, against typical fees of USD 1,000 to USD 3,000 for internationally marketed online interior design diplomas, most of which are self-paced. ASDAV’s are taught live in small batches by practising professionals, ordinarily the more expensive format. Cost, rather than ability, has long decided who gets to upskill in design, and the pricing is set to change that.

ASDAV reports salary increases in the 200 to 250 percent range after programme completion, with gains of up to 350 percent among learners moving into specialist Revit and BIM roles.

ASDAV’s instructors are practising architects, interior designers, BIM specialists and Vastu consultants drawn from the Indian Institutes of Technology, the School of Planning and Architecture, CEPT University and the National Institute of Design. Founder Ar. Jasmine Ahluwalia is a licensed architect and global Vastu consultant, and a graduate of Scuola Master F.lli Pesenti at Politecnico di Milano.

“ASDAV was built to close the distance between what design education teaches and what the profession actually requires,” said Ar. Jasmine Ahluwalia, Founder of ASDAV. “We have proved that in India. Shantanu’s appointment means we can scale internationally without compromising small batches, practising faculty and real project work.”

Enrolment

ASDAV runs cohorts every month across all three disciplines, with current intake dates published at https://www.asdav.com. The next architecture and interior design cohorts begin on 15 August 2026 and the next applied Vastu cohort begins on 16 August 2026.
